Sunshine witnessed after four days in Bhopal

In Madhya Pradesh, many cities including Bhopal and Gwalior witnessed sunshine on Monday after four days. Due to this the day temperature has increased by 6 to 8 degrees.

In Bhopal the mercury rose by 6.8 degrees to 24.3 degrees in a single day. The mercury in the capital was below 20 degrees for the last 3 days. Gwalior was the coldest in the state on Monday. The mercury here was recorded at 20.02 degrees. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of light rain in many districts on Tuesday.

Khajuraho was the second coldest city of the state. The temperature here was recorded at 20.5 degrees. The temperature in Indore increased by 6.2 degrees to 26.3 degrees. There was a slight increase in Gwalior and it was 20.2 degrees. The temperature was recorded at 26 degrees in Ujjain and 23 degrees in Jabalpur.

The day temperature was less than 25 degrees in Nowgong, Tikamgarh, Damoh, Guna, Rewa, Umaria, Narmadapuram, Sagar, Satna, Raisen, Sidhi, Narsinghpur, Pachmarhi, Dhar and Malajkhand.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain in Bhopal division including Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Ratlam, Harda, Sagar in the next 24 hours. At the same time, there will be moderate to dense fog in Gwalior-Chambal division on Tuesday morning.

Among major cities (temperature in degrees Celsius) Bhopal 14.8 Indore 14.8, Gwalior 7.9, Jabalpur 14.4 and Ujjain 15.4.

Meteorologist Sahu said that the cyclonic circulation system is over Uttar Pradesh. The second Indo Cyclonic Circulation is over Rajasthan. At the same time, the trough line is passing from Gujarat to UP. Due to this, the weather of Madhya Pradesh has also changed. There is rain, fog and wind. The system will remain active for the next two days. A Western Disturbance is becoming active again on January 8, which will last till January 12. There is also a possibility of fog and light rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, the day temperature recorded in Bhopal on Sunday was 17.5 degrees, while the day temperature in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh was 19.5 degrees. In this way, there was a drop of 2 degrees in Bhopal compared to Dharamshala.
